Stop Work Policy
Radiation Pioneers for Trading Company (SPSS) will implement the statement of adherence to safety procedure and subject to stoppage of work if a circumstance that may cause a potential risk among workers.
To minimize the occurrence, this statement will be imposed to its department to inform all employees to comply with Safety Policy and Loss Prevention Program in connection to stoppage of work due to unsafe condition of workplace. In adherence to safety procedure, SPSS will comply the minimum requirements that will commit the prevention of accident to minimize loss of life or bodily injury to employees and damage to its physical assists. When safety - violations are noted minor or major, the work will be immediately stopped until the safety violation has been corrected. In connection to this statement, SPSS employees have given a full authority to take immediate action to stop the work concerning the identified hazards and any potential hazards that may occur in connection of work being performed. All engineers, area supervisors and any competent persons who are in-charge in the safety personnel following activities, to enforce the applicable Safety Codes, Standards and Rules & Regulation to ensure a safe working environment.
In fulfilling this commitment, which is an essential and equally important as production objectives, Al-SPSS will provide and maintain a safe and healthful work environment and protect the construction against foreseeable hazards resulting from operations.
This statement demonstrates a visible and active leadership that engage our employees and sub-contractors to manage health, safety, and environment (HSE) performance as a line responsibility with clear authorities and accountabilities. This is also to ensure that SPSS employees and sub-contractors understand that working safely is a condition of employment, and that they are responsible for their own safety and safety to those co-workers.
